Google Chrome to get Safe Browsing, Enhanced Safe Browsing features soon

 

Google Chrome's Enhanced Safe Browsing will now offer improved protection against risky files.




Tech giant Google will soon roll out new features for Chrome users. The new upgrades, starting with the Chrome 91 update, will add fresh 'Safe Browsing' features.

As per Mashable, the upcoming features will help users choose better extensions and will offer additional protection against downloading malicious files on the web.

The details about the new features have been published by Google in its official blog post. It stated that Enhanced Safe Browsing users will now get additional protection when installing a new extension from the Chrome Web Store. A dialog will pop up to inform users if the extension that they're about to install is not a part of the list of extensions trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing.

WhatsApp is testing message reactions — you might soon be able to react to messages with heart, laugh, like and other emojis

  WhatsApp is working on a new feature called “message reactions.” The feature in itself is not new as it’s available on popular messaging apps like Messenger, iMessage, Twitter and Instagram DM as well.  WhatsApp  is now testing this feature which is still in its early stages of development. Message reactions on WhatsApp are expected to work similar to other apps like Messenger and Twitter.
